Hi there! My name is Agustin, and I'm a financial coach, husband, and father. I studied accounting and finance in college and then pursued a master's degree in tax. I've been working in accounting and finance since 2012, but my interest in personal finance began much earlier, thanks to my parents. They taught me the importance of planning for the future so that we can be prepared for anything life throws our way (or at least as prepared as possible!).

Over the last decade, my wife and I have made big and small steps towards gaining greater financial flexibility. We built up our credit scores from scratch, purchased a fixer-upper home and renovated it, paid off $60k in student loans, maxed out our retirement accounts, and traveled both domestically and abroad. We're a dual-working household, constantly balancing building our family with our professional careers.

I created this website to help other families make smarter financial decisions. For the last ten years, I've been researching and implementing strategies to set up our family financially so that we have greater flexibility in our lives. This flexibility allows us to travel, pursue our passions, and build towards an early retirement. I'm excited to share the tips and tricks I've learned along the way so that others can benefit from my research.
